the launch of the newest addition to the patented Comp-U-Sort
line, the Mercury Order Assembly System (OAS).
Most large dry cleaning plants and industrial laundries currently
have computerized systems for storage after cleaning. But one
piece of the total automated process had been missing until now.
After cleaning has been completed, getting goods to the storage
conveyor organized by individual customer and specific laundry outlet
has been difficult and done by hand.
Here is how this new unique laundry garment organizational
system works.
Mercury Order Assembly System automatically sorts
and assembles complete orders that are ready for bagging. Integrated
with your POS system, an operator scans and loads garments on the
conveyor. The first piece in an order is recognized, prompting placement
of a newly printed invoice on the hanger. As garments travel the
conveyor, items are dropped in assembled order at one of four-drop
stations. The system can process up to 240 orders per hour. Add
another operator and in optional second scanning station for even
faster assembly.
